BAND HONORED

The Wauseon High School march­ing band per­formed recently at the Colum­bus Grove “Eyes With Pride” band com­pe­ti­tion, and has earned a spot at the state march­ing band finals.

Wauseon fin­ished sec­ond out of 13 bands at “Eyes With Pride” last Sat­ure­day, and was one of four bands to receive a supe­rior rat­ing — the high­est rat­ing given.

This marks the 16th con­sec­u­tive year the WHS band has qual­i­fied for the State March­ing Band Finals. This year’s pro­gram, “A Night at the Movies,” fea­tures music from “E.T.,” “Moon River” and a med­ley from “The Sound of Music.”
