During the week of July 30 to Aug. 5…a total of 71 COVID 19 new cases were reported in Fulton County. There were 29 the previous week…prior to that the number was under 10. Health officials confirm…the County now has a case rate of 220 per 100,000 over the previous two weeks. For Ohio, the rate was 125. Fulton County’s cases increased by 89 in the last week, to 4,486 as of Sunday. The total number of hospitalizations was up by 9, at 263. Governor, DeWine announced vaccination rates are increasing across the state. There has been an uptick of vaccinations in 85 of Ohio’s 88 counties in July…compared to the previous month. The latest data shows that 60% of Ohioans, 18 and over, have received at least one dose of vaccine, while 58% of all eligible Ohioans, those 12 and older, are either fully or partially vaccinated.
