A Montpelier man and four juveniles were hurt in a crash Sunday night in Farmer Township, Defiance County. At about 11:11 p.m. Saturday, a juvenile was driving a 2018 Ford Fusion south on Ridenour Road and failed to stop for the stop sign at Scott Road. The Ford was struck by a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Adam Goebel, 33, Montpelier. Both vehicles came to rest off the southeast side of the roadway. Goebel and his juvenile passenger were transported to a Bryan hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford was taken to a Hicksville hospital, also with non-life-threatening injuries. Both juvenile passengers in the Ford were flown via medical helicopter to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, was serious injuries.
