Bryan’s skyline will soon become a little more fun and a little more sweet. Bryan Municipal Utilities has publicly been planning improvements, including painting, its two water towers, including one…in the middle of Spangler Candy Co.’s campus along Mulberry Street, in the northwestern part of town. Spangler officials presented a proposal in which the company will pay to have the water tower painted with an array of Spangler’s Dum Dums lollipops. BMU expects the work to get underway in mid-September.
