A man from Garrett is hurt…when the motorcycle hits a deer on I-69 in DeKalb County. Officials say…Jordan Gunion, 24, was northbound…near the 325 mile marker…when a deer entered from the east side. Then the collision. The vehicle goes off the interstate…sliding into the median. Gunion was able to get off the motorcycle as it continued sliding. Medics took him to a hospital with shoulder pain and abrasions to his hands and legs. State and local officials are handling the post-crash investigation.
