Memorial Day is right around the corner and events throughout Williams County are planned to celebrate the holiday on Monday. In Bryan…a parade will begin at 9:15 a.m. from the Goodwill parking lot and head to Fountain Grove Cemetery for a memorial service. In Edon…Memorial Day festivities will commence at 9 a.m. with a memorial service at the Columbia Cemetery. There will be another memorial service at 10 a.m. at the Blakeslee Cemetery and a parade will begin at 10:50 a.m. in the State Bank parking lot. At the conclusion of the parade, a final memorial service will be held at 11:05 a.m. at the Edon Cemetery. The national anthem and other special music will be performed by the Edon High School band.
