The public is invited to the Spangler Candy Co.’s opening of its new Bit-O-Honey production facility Friday. The event begins at 10 a.m. with a “wrapper cutting” ceremony…with several dignitaries making comments. The event will take place at Spangler Candy Company’s West Campus, on W. Mulberry St., three blocks west of the main campus. Following the ceremony, walking tours of the facility will be offered to the public until 2 p.m.
