Levy for Williams County Health Department to appear on November ballot

The Williams County commissioners approve a resolution to proceed with placing an additional levy on the November ballot for the Williams County Health Department. If passes it will be 0.29 mills for 10 years and will be used for operations. It amounts to $10 dollars of tax per year for a person owning a $100,000 dollar home. The collection would begin in 2025 and would raise an estimated $255 thousand dollars annually for the health department.
