The Ohio State Highway Patrol Toledo Post handles an injury crash on U.S. 20, near King Road, in Sylvania Township. Officials say Dennis Howard, 59, of Swanton, was westbound on US 20. That’s when side swiped a pickup truck, eastbound on US 20, driven by Joshua Bricker, of Toledo. Howard’s vehicle then hits a utility pole, gas line and a sign. Bricker was not injured, while Howard was taken to Toledo Hospital in serious condition. Utility crews are called out to fix the gas leak. State and local officials are working together in the case.
