Ayersville accepts resignation of longtime administrator.

In education news, Ayersville Local Schools Board of Education accepted the resignation of a longtime member of its administration at its recent meeting. According to Superintendent Beth Hench, Abby Sharp, has accepted a new position and resigned as chief financial officer-treasurer, effective April 7. She has served the district for nine years. Hench adds Abby has been an integral part of Ayersville’s administration since 2015. Applications for the vacant position are being accepted through April 12, and interviews will begin the week of April 22 with a preferred start date set for May 13.
