River Ice Still A Threat

With the some­what warmer tem­per­a­tures over the past week­end, ice dams on area rivers were a big con­cern to many river com­mu­ni­ties in the area.

The good news today is that ice is break­ing up and going out on many rivers as of Mon­day after­noon.

Some ice remained in some areas, but river lev­els were begin­ning to drop, after crest­ing below flood stage in most areas on Monday.
