Butler man taken into custody Monday.

Coming from a post on Bryan Police Departments Facebook page, Zachary Chervenka, a 32-year-old man from Butler, Indiana, was taken into custody by the Edgerton Police Department Monday following activity Sunday that placed the lives of two children in jeopardy. The Bryan Police Department (BPD) initially received a report of Chervenka’s presence at the Bryan Walmart on Sunday evening. Officers confirmed that Chervenka had an active warrant for his arrest in DeKalb County, Indiana, on multiple charges, including obstruction of justice, identity deception, theft, criminal recklessness, resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and driving while suspended.
