Williams Co. Commissioners hold public hearing on CDBG program projects.

The Williams County commissioners held the first public hearing to discuss potential projects to be funded through the state’s Community Development Block Grant program. Representatives of Edon, Pioneer, West Unity and Williams County Economic Development Corp. attended the meeting to learn about deadlines and qualifications for the upcoming round of funding. Maumee Valley Planning Organization, which typically administers the grants for Williams County, presented the information and told the group this is an off year for the county for the allocation program, meaning there will be no applications accepted.
