ICE Deputy Director announces that she’s leaving the agency, and launched a campaign for Ohio’s 9th District congressional seat.

ICE Deputy Director Madison Sheahan announced on social media Thursday that she would be leaving the agency, and launched a campaign for Ohio’s 9th District congressional seat. In the X post, Sheahan addressed “All ICE Employees” and described her experience as Deputy Director as “the honor of (her) life.” Though Sheahan did not make mention of her campaign in the departure letter, both an X account and Facebook page have been created under the name “Sheahan For Ohio.”
