Quadco News

The board of directors of Quadco met in a planning session on Tuesday and discussed the emphasis being placed on community employment and integration for individuals with disabilities across the country and in the state of Ohio.

The board learned that decisions by the Department of Justice and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid are directing that individuals with disabilities have full access to benefits of community living and the opportunity to receive services in the most integrated settings appropriate.

It was noted that officials in Ohio, and in particular, here in our area through the efforts and enterprises of Quadco, have been promoting efforts in support of these objectives all along, including an emphasis on community employment.

As previously discussed, the board plans to broaden the center’s mission statement, and they hope to be able to have some new examples ready to go over at the next board meeting in April.
