Democracy Day on the calendar in March.

Democracy Day, a public hearing when citizens are asked to submit presentations on the impact of corporate influence in politics, is being held for the tenth year by the Toledo mayor and Toledo City Council. The event this year will be held on March 11th at 5 p.m. in the City Council chambers. The mayor will send a letter with the citizens’ requests to Toledo’s U.S. congressional delegation, Ohio House and Senate leaders, and Toledo’s representatives in the Ohio legislature.
