Single vehicle commercial crash causes long term road closure.

The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving a commercial tractor/trailer. The crash occurred on March 13th at approximately 6:43 p.m., on Interstate 280 milepost 5, in
Lake Township, Wood County.
The preliminary investigation revealed a 2023 Freightliner tractor/trailer, driven by Melvin Forman, 44, Michigan, was traveling southbound on Interstate 280 when he lost control of the vehicle, striking the concrete dividing wall. The tractor portion of the vehicle became stuck on top of the concrete dividing wall, partially blocking the northbound lanes of Interstate 280, while the trailer portion blocked the southbound lanes.
The driver sustained minor injuries.
