During a special meeting late on Wednesday afternoon, the Paulding Exempted Village Schools Board of Education decided to boost its planned borrowing level and implement a few cost-cutting measures, such as pay-to-play. The meeting took place eight days after the board approved a plan to borrow up to $2 million to finish maintenance tasks deemed essential during its regular meeting on May 19. Consequently, the board approved a contract with Gardiner Service Company, LLC to improve the boiler and replace the HVAC controls
