At the district’s monthly board of education meeting on Monday, the nature of Archbold Area Schools impending renewal levy in May was discussed. Superintendent Jayson Selgo stated in his report to the board that on May 5th, what was previously regarded as an emergency renewal levy would become a “fixed-sum levy.” The Ohio General Assembly’s property tax changes from the previous year were the cause of this modification.
