Henry Has Highway Plans

Henry County has some big plans for a number of roads and bridges this year.

Henry County plans to resurface four miles of roads and to chip and seal more than 36 miles of county highways, along with six bridge and culvert projects that are planned to be undertaken.

The county also plans on bidding out the replacement of one bridge on Henry County Road 7 at an estimated cost of $316,500.

The estimated cost of the culvert projects is $425,700. That’s in addition to the approximately 1/2 Million Dollars the county plans to spend this year on resurfacing.
