Defiance County Safe Communities Coalition providing complimentary “Safety Town” programs.

For children aged 4 1/2 to 6, the Defiance County Safe Communities Coalition is providing two complimentary “Safety Town” programs.  For kids starting kindergarten or first grade this autumn, Safety Town is an engaging program. Children will learn vital safety skills through practical exercises, such as bicycle, school bus, pedestrian, and daily recreational safety. Additionally, participants will have the chance to learn about emergency vehicles and interact with local first responders.  Until May 22, or until all spots are filled, registration is open. Families can register by phone at 419-784-3818 or online at defiancecohealth.org.
