The application for grant funding for a new wastewater treatment plant in Edon was approved by the Williams County commissioners on Tuesday. Maumee Valley Planning Organization met with the commissioners to discuss applying for the award through the Community Development Block award Program’s Residential Public Infrastructure Grants program. The project is expected to cost $3.3 million, and the highest amount that may be submitted through RPIG is $750,000.
