Williams County Commissioners OK Expenses And Resignations

Williams County Com­mis­sion­ers met on Mon­day, and accepted two let­ters of res­ig­na­tion and approved three sup­ple­men­tal appro­pri­a­tions.

Williams County Emer­gency Med­ical Ser­vice Para­medic Sarah Hahn sub­mit­ted a let­ter of res­ig­na­tion, effec­tive Aug. 28. Part-time 911 dis­patcher Kevin Krill sub­mit­ted a res­ig­na­tion, effec­tive imme­di­ately.

The three sup­ple­men­tal appro­pri­a­tions included:

• $225 for the auditor’s office, for Oak Meadows/Krohns debt ser­vice fund set­tle­ment fees.

• $6,431 for the Emer­gency Man­age­ment Agency, for con­tract ser­vices; $1,925 for non-capital assets; $1,808 for non-capital assets-equipment.

• $2,775 for the Williams County Local Emer­gency Plan­ning Com­mis­sion, for con­tract ser­vices.

And finally, the Bryan Times reports that com­mis­sion­ers also approved a $423 pur­chase of a walk-behind lawn mower.
