Williams County To Be Targeted In OVI Checkpoints

It’s never a good idea to drink and drive. This weekend, it’s an even worse idea.

Ohio State Highway Patrol has announced there will be an OVI checkpoint in Williams County Saturday night. The OVI checkpoint, funded by federal grants,is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. The location of the checkpoint will be announced Saturday morning.

As always, troopers take a zero tolerance to drinking and driving. Don’t become a statistic. Police will also be looking for other violations during the checkpoint, so be sure to buckle up too.
