Fremont Man Accused Of Child Sex Crimes

A Fre­mont man has been arrested in DeKalb County on charges of child molest­ing.

Accord­ing to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, 33 year old Michael Clifton was cuffed at his place of work after charges were filed against him fol­low­ing a long inves­ti­ga­tion into accu­sa­tions that he allegedly molested a young girl between August of 2010 and Jan­u­ary of 2013. Records show that the girl was just nine years old when it began.

An ini­tial hear­ing, Clifton was held and bond was set at $50,000. A pre-trial con­fer­ence is now sched­uled for Jan­u­ary 21st.
