Suit Filed In Pedistrian Death

A Bryan woman has filed a law­suit fol­low­ing an acci­dent that left her hus­band dead. It hap­pened back in Novem­ber 2013, when then 19 year old Brock Minor of Mont­pe­lier was north­bound on Markey Avenue, when he hit 82 year old Hugh Lind­sey who was stand­ing on the side of the road, where there was no side­walk.

Lind­sey was severely injured and later died at Toledo Med­ical Cen­ter.

Now, Lindsey’s widow, Bev­erly Lind­sey, in her law­suit, alleges that Minor was neg­li­gent in the death of her hus­band.

The suit seeks in excess of $25,000 and claims Bev­erly Lind­sey has accrued more than $160,000 in med­ical, funeral and other expenses.

No court date has yet been assigned to the case.
