Defiance Fire

Defiance firefighters were called out to a trailer fire Monday morning. It happened just before 11am at the mobile home on Tahoe Ridge, and when they arrived, there was lots of smoke and flames coming from the windows.

Everyone living there was able to escape safely, but the trailer, owned by Jerry Leininger, was a total loss.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation, and the American Red Cross has been called into action to help assist the family.
