Williams County is soon getting a new prosecutor. Kirk Yosick has resigned, effective next Thursday, July 2nd.
Yosick cites the reason for leaving as the fact that he will be working as a general counsel for a company in Toledo. His term was set to expire at the end of 2016. Yosick took over as the Williams County Prosecutor in January of 2013. So far, no word on who will be his replacement. The Williams County Board of Commissioners will make an interim appointment, after which the the Williams County Republican Central Committee will have to confirm that selection.
