Fireworks Moved In Defiance Due To Flooding

Flooding in Defiance has forced the city to move its annual fireworks display. According to a report in the Crescent News, Friday night’s fireworks are still scheduled to be launched Friday evening at dusk at Diehl Park. Due to the flooding caused by the recent rains, vendors and other midway activities will be on the oval pavement area next to the little girls softball complex and the fireworks will be launched north of the ball diamonds.
