Fatal Crash In Bryan

A two-vehicle crash Fri­day morn­ing on West High Street in Bryan took the life of an Indi­ana man. 69 year old Joseph New­man of Hamil­ton Lake, was east­bound on West High Street when he was rear-ended by Paul Brown near the inter­sec­tion of Avenue A. Bryan Police say both Newman’s and Brown’s cars then each hit a seper­ate tree. New­man was pro­nounced dead by Williams County Coro­ner Dr. Kevin Park. The fatal acci­dent is under inves­ti­ga­tion and tox­i­col­ogy tests are being performed.
