Car Strikes Utility Pole in Williams Co.

A single-vehicle crash yes­ter­day morn­ing is being inves­ti­gated by local deputies. The wreck hap­pened just before 7am yes­ter­day on State Route 576 when 54-year-old Mar­tin Cole of Edon tried to turn onto Williams County Road H. Instead, he ran off the road­way and struck a util­ity pole. The Williams County Sheriff’s Depart­ment cited Cole for fail­ure to main­tain his lane is look­ing fur­ther into the cause of the wreck. No injuries were reported.
