A Waterloo man was arrested over the weekend after police say he stabbed another man during a fight. 34 year old Timothy Hopkins was taken into custody on Saturday morning following the altercation at a home near Butler at about 9:45am. Police say Hopkins used a knife to cut the victim in the head, hand and torso. The injuries were said to be non-life threatening, and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released. Hopkins was booked into the DeKalb County Jail on a felony charge of Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
