Alzheimer’s Association Walk Planned For Saturday

The North­west Ohio Chap­ter of the Alzheimer’s Asso­ci­a­tion and sup­port groups that meet at the Defi­ance County Senior Cen­ter, remind every­one of the upcom­ing Alzheimer’s Walk, which is set for Sat­ur­day at Kings­bury Park in Defi­ance. Reg­is­tra­tion is at 9 a.m. with a cer­e­mony at 10:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 11 a.m. The walk will be for about one mile to down­town Defi­ance and back to the park. The pub­lic is invited to attend. Reg­is­tra­tion can be done online at alz.org/walk or by call­ing 800–272-3900. Last year the walk raised $56,000. The goal this year is $63,000.
