Paulding Growth Discussed

Pauld­ing County com­mis­sion­ers met recently and learned of some eco­nomic devel­op­ment issues. The Com­mis­sion­ers met with rep­re­sen­ta­tives of Regional Growth Part­ner­ship Jobs Ohio and Pauld­ing County Eco­nomic Devel­op­ment, and learned that sev­eral area col­leges and uni­ver­si­ties are in the process of form­ing a con­sor­tium to dis­cuss and plan edu­ca­tional pro­grams that would fill local com­pa­nies’ needs for skilled work­ers. The com­mis­sion­ers asked what they could do to pro­mote eco­nomic devel­op­ment in Pauld­ing County, and were told that con­tin­u­ing efforts to apply for and seek out grants for infra­struc­ture were extremely impor­tant for the future of Pauld­ing County.
