Funeral home director faces prison

A Toledo funeral home direc­tor has lost his license and pleaded no con­test to abuse of a corpse charges. Robert Tate was found guilty yes­ter­day in Lucas County Com­mon Pleas Court. Police raided the Tate Funeral Home in May, find­ing sev­eral bod­ies that were not embalmed and severely decom­posed. His sen­tenc­ing is Decem­ber 21st. He faces up to a year in prison.
