A juvenile is arrested for arson following a Hicksville church fire. The suspect was taken to the Northwest Ohio Juvenile Detention Facility, and will appear in a Defiance County courtroom at a later date. The juvenile will face a charge of aggravated arson, with more potentially to be filed, pending completion of the investigation. A campus building at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Antwerp Drive, in Hicksville caught fire on Jan. 15, prompting the investigation by both Hicksville Police and the Ohio State Fire Marshall.
