A move for better busses for Bryan City Schools.

The Bryan City School Board of Education approves moving more money to purchase new busses. The board needed to add $60,000 dollars to the permanent improvement budget, due to the increased cost of school buses. Officials say…the buses cost $140,000 dollars…and the addition of two new ones will result in retiring either the two oldest ones or the ones that are giving the district the most trouble. Currently, the district has 20 drivers driving 22 routes. Separately, they added…wanted to thank Bryan Municipal Utilities for donating video equipment from their former video production department that is not in use anymore.
