Accident Hurts Several

A two-vehicle crash on Ohio 281 and Henry County Road 18, one mile east of the Henry-Defiance county line…injures three juveniles, one seriously. Isaiah Schultz 16, of Napoleon, was taken from the scene by air ambulance to Toledo Hospital. Officials say he was a front-seat passenger in a Honda Civic, driven by Thomas Miller, 17, of Napoleon, who was taken to Henry County Hospital, with minor injuries. Brasen Weible, 10…a passenger in the other vehicle is taken to an area hospital, as well. Officials tell reporters, Miller was southbound on 18…approaching Ohio 281 at a high rate of speed…he sees the stop sign…tries to brake…but is going too fast and goes into the intersection…hitting that second vehicle. Crews close the roadway for a time to clear the scene. State and local investigators are on the case.
