ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING

Swan­ton police say it was an acci­den­tal shoot­ing that left a local man wounded in the leg Sat­ur­day evening.

19 year old Christo­pher Flickinger was flown by air ambu­lance from Ful­ton County Health Cen­ter in Wauseon to Mercy St. Vin­cent Med­ical Cen­ter on Sun­day.

Flickinger and his room­mate were appar­ently try­ing to take apart a semi-automatic hand­gun at their home when the gun dis­charged, hit­ting Flickinger in the leg. No charges have been filed.
