A man accused of raping three young girls between 1999 to 2010 will stand trial in Williams County Common Pleas Court.

40 year old Daniel Bignell Jr of Montpelier faces 14 felony counts of sexual abuse.

According to The Bryan Times, the alleged crimes involve three girls. Each knew Bignell and all were under the age of 13 when the assaults began.

Bignell was arrested in September on a secret indictment. On Oct. 3, he pled not guilty to all counts including four counts of gross sexual imposition, five counts of rape, two counts of attempted rape and three counts of kidnapping.

Bignell is being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio in lieu of a $1 million bond.

If convicted of rape or kidnapping with sexual motivation, Bignell faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
