American Cancer Society needs volunteer drivers

The American Cancer Society is looking for more volunteer drivers to help take care of patients who need transportation to medical treatments. The Road to Recovery Program is hoping to add more drivers and is holding a training program for those interested in volunteering. One of the training sessions will be held in Defiance on Tuesday Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. at Cabin Fever Coffee Shop. The other is in Wauseon on Thursday the 25th at 2 p.m. at the Fulton County Health Department. Anyone with a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, good driving record and daytime availability is encouraged to attend. Contact the American Cancer Society for more info.
