Amtrak In Bryan…To Stay

After recently finalizing a 20-year agreement to continue renting the train stop in Bryan, Amtrak is planning a $3.3 million dollar upgrade to the facility…which will include a new enclosed passenger station with restroom and boarding platform…making it ADA compliant. Last month, council approved a 20-year agreement with the railway service, which makes daily stops in Bryan. Under the agreement, Amtrak will continue to rent the area…that includes the train station…for $2,000 dollars, annually.
