An Interesting DUI

Indiana State troopers are investigating a solo crash on the Toll Road. Brittany Lockhart of LaPorte was arrested. Officials say Lockhart tried to enter the Toll Road, heading west from the Toll Plaza at State Road 9 in Howe. Lockhart misses a curve and drives her vehicle southbound across the westbound lanes, into the median and across the eastbound lanes. Then, she makes a u-turn and drives back north across the eastbound lanes before stopping in the median. When officers arrive, Lockhart is on the ground, passed out next to the car. Lockhart regained consciousness…she also smelled of alcohol. She was transported to Parkview Lagrange for treatment of minor injuries before getting booked for DUI and a host of other charges.
