An Interesting Look At Williams County s Past

There’s a great way coming up to learn some of the lesser known items of interest in the history of our area. A guided tour is set up for the 29th at the Fountain Grove cemetery. There, event holders say, you will find the final resting places of some area’s most famous…and infamous residents. The tour rounds out the experience with guide’s…who know all the inside stories on these Williams County natives of the past. They also know a lot about the symbolism of the headstones. It’s a real look into the rich past of our area. The Williams County Public Library’s local history center is hosting the event.
