The Second Annual “Michelle Bard Geary Community Cancer Symposium” is coming up on Thursday, the 17th. The event will be held at the New Hope Community Church, on 127 in Bryan. The focus of the event will be a continued education about various cancers for medical professionals, as well as skin and head screenings for patrons. A luncheon will be served. The keynote speaker is Shannon Miller, Olympic gold medalist and ovarian cancer survivor.
