Angola/Fremont miss the top 8, come home with cash

You may remember we told you that Angola/Fremont were competing in the Americas Best Communities Contest in D.C.
They were part of the top 15 cities competing, and when it got down to 8, Angola/Fremont was not on the list.
Madison was the only one of three Indiana communities to advance. Valparaiso was also eliminated.
Angola/Fremont did get an awesome and lovely parting gift… 25 thousand dollar consolation prize for making the cut to the final fifteen out of more than 400 cities and towns nationwide. That’s just part of the total 90 thousand dollars they won in the competition.
