Appeal filed in double murder case in Paulding County

An appeal has been filed regarding a double murder case in Paulding County. 46 year old Bradley Gillespie has filed his appeal with the Ohio Third District Court of Appeals in Lima. Defiance attorney Timothy Holtsberry has been appointed to represent Gillespie during his appeal. On Oct. 31, Gillespie received consecutive 15 years to life sentences for two counts of murder, unclassified felonies, with a gun specification on each charge.The gun specifications carried a mandatory one-year sentence each, which are to be served consecutively. Gillespie currently is housed at the Correctional Reception Center in Orient. He was found guilty of the February 2016 deaths of Hannah Fischer, 21, and Frank Tracy Jr., 47, both of Paulding. Fisher and Tracy died “as a result of a single gunshot to the head,” according to their autopsy reports.
