Applications for grant funding to undo blighted properties are about ready to go, and Montpelier made a request for a property previously torn down. According to the Bryan Times, the Williams County Land Reutilization Corp., or land bank, has about $60,500 in previous grant funds it is allowed to expend on replacement projects. The board agreed recently to four properties, three in Edgerton and one in Kunkle. The state is providing up to $500,000 in grant funding for 2024 for site revitalization, and the land bank has mostly determined which of those projects will be sent to the state.
