It just isn’t getting any easier for proponents of the aquifer plan to sell water to surrounding communities in the region. Now, the Defiance County Commissioners opposed Artesian of Pioneer’s plans to offer the water at a price to Henry County, Liberty Center, Whitehouse and some Toledo suburbs. The panel unanimously approved a resolution of non-support of aquifer drilling.
