ARRAIGNMENT SET FOR TUESDAY IN DEATH OF TWO TEENS

An arraignment is scheduled Tuesday for a 17-year-old Ottawa boy charged in the deaths of two teenage brothers.

The aggravated murder charges announced Friday against Michael Fay came just over a week after he and the teens were named in an Amber Alert on May 9th after the brother’ mother found a gun along with blood in the home where she lived with 14 year old Blane and 17 year old Blake Romes.

The Toledo Blade reports that the first Ottawa police officer at the scene followed a bloody trail throughout the home to the back door. Prosecutors allege that Fay committed the killings “purposely” and with “prior calculation and design” in the trailer.
